I have recently finished my final year at Queen Mary University studying a BSc in Biology. With my passion for health equity, I am really excited to join Nuffield Health as an intern. Knowing that myself and my family may be affected by inequalities within the healthcare system strongly motivates me to investigate how these issues may be tackled.
I am looking forward to applying my knowledge to a more social context and highlighting inequalities currently being faced by different members of society so that they can be addressed and rectified faster. I believe constant evaluation of the healthcare system is important to ensure that it is the best it can be so by undertaking this role in health data science will mean that I can be a part of that conversation.
